Pet Rules and Regulations
All pets must be carried in the common areas of the building. Once outside the building, please keep in mind there is a leash law in Lowell. All owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, inside and outside of the building. Noise or disturbances by a pet can be fined by the Board of Trustees. Any damage to common space areas by a pet (including extra cleaning charges) shall be assessed to the owner of the pet. Please report any violations to the property manager or to a trustee.

Pet Policy Amendment
Whereas the Declaration of Trust for the Upper Cotton House Lofts Condominium Association specifies a set of Rules and Regulations for the Owners; and
Whereas the Declaration of Trust for the Upper Cotton House Lofts Condominium Association allows the Trustees to amend those Rules and Regulations; and
Whereas the Board of Trustees desires to protect the safety of all residents and protect and further limit liabilities against the Association Master Insurance policy;
Now therefore, the Board of Trustees has amended the pet policy in those Rules and Regulations:
Section 4 (a) in the rules and Regulations are deleted and replaced with the following:
(a) Unit Owners or residents may keep in their Units no more than 2 dogs, cats, or other household pets. In no event shall the following breeds of dogs be permitted: Akita, Argentinian Mastiff, Bull Mastiff, Cane Corso, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweiller, Wolf Hybrid, any mixed breeds that are inclusive of any of the above, Guard Dogs, and any dog with a past history of biting or that has demonstrated aggressive behavior.
It is the responsibility of the Unit Owners to ensure that their tenants are aware of the Rules and Regulations of the Upper Cotton House lofts Condominium Association. Breach of Rules by the tenant will result in fines being imposed upon the appropriate Owner's Unit.

Note: Any pets that exist at the units at Upper Cotton House Lofts prior to the adoption of this policy will be grandfathered and deemed to not be in violation of this regulation.
